Why America is so Scared of the Wuh-Flu
Why did so many Americans lose their minds over the Wuh-Flu?
Look around
your home. Smartphones, smart TV’s, everything has “smart” features, vacuums
operate on their own. So many of us have become so used to living these
extremely comfortable lives, that very few of us have ever had to think about
death, or even some moderately uncomfortable thoughts. Very few of us have come
to terms with the fact that someday, we’re going to die. Americans lost their
minds when the Kung-Flu hit (most of them lost their minds far before it hit) because
they’ve never had to face the reality that they’re immortal and someday they
will die. Lost their minds even though there was a very slim chance that they
would get severely sick, let alone, God-forbid, die.
But there’s
actually a deeper reason as to why so many Americans could not handle the
China-virus and even thinking about death. The main reason, I think, is because
we are turning away from God. We are turning away from Him at a very alarming rate. This life is the only
life so many people think there is. As a country, we don’t believe in God, we
don’t believe that Heaven and Hell exist. Once this life is over, we think
that’s all there is. We are so afraid to die because we are no longer
Christians. We don’t know what’s going to happen when we die. We’re so busy
living for the now, for personal pleasure, that we forget what we should be
living for. Jesus. We ought to be living the way Jesus taught us so we can have
the possibility of living with Him in the Kingdom of Heaven when our time on
earth is done.
We, as a
country, no longer live for Jesus. We no longer believe. We live for ourselves,
for the here-and-now. And that’s why we’re scared to die, that’s why Rona was
such a scary thing for America. We need to turn back to God. We need to come back
to Christianity.
